How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is unique. And the shine on mine? Stunning.
Are they worth it?
Totally! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them on sale is smarter. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you find a style that suits you. I chose a loud pair, but a minimalist version would also be smart.
